This is the monitor I have..

From what I'm reading, the max I can probably go is 76-83hz?

Great, I could just set me refresh rate in game to 75ish. Wrong. The only game I've seen (sorry for mentioning it) is CoD, 75Hz.

So why do no games recognize I have more then 60hz? Is it because of the unpopular hz?

Do I have to manually go into each games dir and set the cfg to the hz? And if so, what hz do I choose?

Thanks for the help everyone.

Asus monitors sometimes run at a higher Hz but it comes at a lower resolution. You will not be able to run it higher say at 1080p without turning the resolution down. Or you could overclock it but I would not do that.

They run at 60Hz 1080p native I have 9 of those monitors 3 on each of my 3 rigs. Well I actually have 6 because the middle monitor on each rig has the model just above that one that has the built in web cam but the specs besides that are the same.

Oh. Then why would they advertise more? Darn them! Well thanks :)

I'm not quite sure if hz makes a difference past 60, since the human eye cant detect it.
