Alright. This is my first scratch build, and until yesterday was kicking down doors on bf3 just fine. Now comes the issues
Intel i5 4670k
Asrock extreme 6 z87
Seagate 2tb barracuda
Amd 7850 2gb ( the two fan version, don't have it with me for the model name).

Yesterday morning I tried to turn my pc on, and it seems something hit the peverbial fan. The computer locked up with not output of any kind and failed to reach post or bios. My motherboard's led initially displayed error 00. Reset cmos, then it REALLY hit the fan.

After clearing cmos 10-15 times, switching bios chips, and removing the battery. Ive been getting errors that seem to just cycle up from 40, and up to 79 before crashing. ( indicating ram and other errors, full manual with each error code on the asrock site). Was getting error 99 even without a pci-e devices.

I'm going to start an rma monday if I have no joy with fixing this ><.

I haven't tried another psu yet. Would there be other signs of it being the psu? The hard drives, fans, and disk readers are kicking over jusr fine.

You have to use a volt meter and read the power supply outputs. most newer intel CPU are controlling the ram and mb. The older mb used to have north and south chipsets. If you got errors like yours we point right to the mob having bad chipset. To day it can be bad power that screws up new mb.

Alright several updates.
Tested with a known good psu and ram, and no change in issues.
Intel god i have no idea, but even if it was I could not log into windows to check.
