Multiple graphic cards - efficiency

HEY
I want to upgrade my graphic card from gigabte radeon 7770HD to gigabyte GTX770.
What will be the efficiency from connecting this two graphic cards together?

My main goal is to reach the highest FPS in games like battelfiels 3 etc etc.. I am also going to upgrade my monitor to BENQ xl2420t(120hz) monitor.

intel core i7 3770k 3.5ghz 8mb l3 cache s1155.
gigabute ga-z77x-ud5h.
g skill ares 4*4gb ddr3 1600mhz.
120gb ssd sata.
cpu cooler scmg-3000/3100.
corsair tx 850w v2

You can only SLI the GTX 770 with another GTX 770. However, the GTX 770is going to be a substantial jump up from the HD 7770

So what does it means?

I will get high performence from connecting this two graphic cards together or i sould connect only the GTX 770?

So the only way to connect more than one graphic card is that they have to be the same?

yes so it is either 7770+7770 or a 770+770 the 7770 and 770 are made by different people they just happen to have similar names.

As you can see, the GTX 770 is three times faster than the Radeon 7770. They are incompatible though. You cannot run them together.
