Hi everyone,

I am buying a new gaming machine. The specs are as follows:

Processor i5 3570K
Ram Corsair Vengeance 8gb
Motherboard Gigabyte Ga Z77X Ud3h
Hard Drive Western Digital 1tb Caviar Green
Graphic Card HD 7870 2gb or 7850 2gb
Case Thermaltake Element 5 Nvidia Edition
PSU Corsair gs 700

I have already bought the ram and case

I'd like recommend the gtx 760. $250 bucks, which is only $50 more than the 7870. Its also quite better than the 7870 and even somewhat better than the 7950 which is around the $300 mark.

I would recommend getting a different hard drive for your main system drive. If you are a Western Digital fan, then go with either a WD Blue or Black series HDD, as the Green series is not recommended for a system drive. Also, if you are planning on overclocking your cpu, you may want to look into getting an aftermarket heatsink/fan (air or watercooling) that will fit the case you get. One final note, you may want to consider adding an ODD to your list.
