hi everyone,

here's my system specs

2500k
asrock z77 extreme 4
2X4g vengeance mem
500g hdd
gtx670 graphics card
corsair vx550 psu

ok now, before the problem occured, my system works well then when i got home after work, i turn on my cpu then it lights then after a seconds it shuts down,
the clear cmos button lighs up and the reset and power button of mobo also have lights turn on, after that ill try to unplug and plug the psu but still problem is there, and also when the switch of psu turns on my mouse lights on without turning on the cpu or pressing the on button, ill try the cmos reset base on manual instruction and removing the battery to reset but nothings happens.

Any words from others will greatly appreciated, thanks....

Hi, Try, if possible, testing with a different power supply.

and another info regarding this problem, recently i test it again my cpu turns on then after a few seconds it will shut down again then few secs will turn on again without pressing again the power button, then sometimes when i try to turn on again,no response untill ill wait a minute then it will automatically will power up,

i wonder if this is a mobo or power supply problem?

Also try with a single stick of DRAM, firmly seated in slot 1 (closest to CPU)

now i resolved the problem by breadboard procedure, i notice that one of my casing cables was grounded and has sign of damage, so i try to sort the wirings and then i test my cpu, then now its working fine

thanks for your suggestions and comments
