have the same gigabyte ga 970 d3 rev 3.0 (previously had asus m4a87td and unlocked phenom 555 to 955 without any problems) but now when i unlock system freezes!any advice?bios is the latest

thanks for the reply with the new bios it shows amd 955 at 2.5ghz when i flash to the older one it unlocks at 3.2 ghz but its very unstable maybe you are right my friend...however it was ok on asus m4a87td/usb so makes me believe that the board is better for fx cpu and not for phenom
