Hi, I'm new here and I'm building my first ever gaming PC. I am a little skeptical about whether or not I should be building it on my own as I am dealing with some expensive parts. Anyway, I would like to know if this is a good budget build and any recommendations or suggestions would be appreciated. In total (including some extras) it all adds up to $1,560.80 off Amazon.
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX770 2GB
CPU: Intel Core i5 3570k @ 3.4GHz
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8GB DDR3 1600MHz
Motherboard: Asus Z87 PRO LGA 1150
Storage: WD Blue 1TB Hard drive + SAMSUNG 830 series 2.5 inch 256GB SSD
PSU: Corsair enthusiast Series TX750 WATT ATX/EPS 80 PLUS bronze
Case: Cooler Master HAF 932 Advanced Full Tower Gaming Case

That is hardly a budget build. What games are you going to be playing? I think you could drop your GPU to a 760 at least, and a 750 watt PSU may be a little excessive, if you are overclocking, drop it to 700, if not, drop it to 600. Another thing, look on PCPartPicker.com, you'll find the best deals for parts on there.

im actually building my first gaming pc as first and i noticed our builds are similar, and i would suggest getting 2 128gb SSD's in RAID 0 config as it will run faster and i first also planned on gtx 770 but decided to spend a few more hundred to a gtx 780 as it's performance can match a gtx titan as a price range at $1000+ and i went with a corsair 860W in future as i getting run SLI GTX 780's but thats just me, as you are on a budget and maybe running a z77 motherboard saving around $100 and you also forgot about your cooling system :)
you can check my build here

its JUST over $2000

I have an Alienware M17xR3 atm with an AMD Radeon 6870m, Intel core i7 2500 at 2.00 GHz with 12GB RAM. I think it should be a substantial upgrade since I am upgrading to a desktop.
