Okay, so I built this thing awhile back and just added the SSD last month. I love her to death, but I feel like she's falling behind the times. I'll have a budget of about $600 to put in some good upgrades. I think mostly what I'll need is a CPU, GPU and PSU? Maybe a case (the wiring system in this one is pretty crappy) and MOBO (current case front usb 3.0 can't connect to mobo which kind of sucks, but this mobo has plenty on back.)

I use her for gaming and I just want to be able to go from reliable mid quality to high end again. I'd like to carry over as many parts as I possibly can to keep costs down.

I'm located in Utah, US if that helps with pricing?

Hii
according to me upgrade your gpu and psu to gtx 770 & psu to 750w for future sli option.
You cpu is quad core it can work well. No need to change it.
I hope it helps.
Thank you.

Will I have bottlenecking down the road (due to cpu) with how games are being pumped out? I know my current mobo doesn't support sli.

Hey
my friend have athlon duel core. He plays all games on that cpu with nvidia gs 8400 512mb gpu. You can quad core cpu my friend. You can play all games easily. No problem.
If you dont plat to sli in future than 550-600w psu is plenty for this rig.
Save money and after sometime upgrade ur mobo and cpu will a best choice. Now just upgrade ur gpu to gtx 770
I hope it helps.
Thank you.
