Hi there, I'd like to build a gaming pc that will be able to play games at high settings while also having another game (eve online) at low settings on another screen. I would also like to be able to switch to playing a single game across all 3 screens for added immersion, like skyrim/fallout or an fps.

this is what i have at the moment, my question is: would a single GTX 770 or 780 be enough to meet my needs? or is the SLI 770 setup the best way? (and would the 4gb 770 have an advantage?)

Would the PSU supply enough power to run everything?
Is the case even big enough to fit it all in?
Would i need an audio card?

And probably most importantly, It comes with one fan ,but I assume ill need more to keep the thing cool and quiet? I'm not at all comfortable using liquid cooling that i have installed myself, and i don't know how to pick a fan. Any reccomendations?

I'd also appreciate any recommendations for monitors, my budget is starting to really get pushed, so a cheapish but still decent quality solution would be great.

Thanks for any help in advance

Bring that PSU up to 850 and that will be fine :) A SilenX EFZ-92HA2 CPU Cooler would be good for you! And two 2GB cards will be fine for what you plan to do, 4GB is overkill and I suspect your CPU will bottleneck them, maybe an i7-4770K?

I'm always amazed at how fast people on this forum are :D
thanks for the amazingly quick response, i go downstairs to make some tea and WHAM, there it is.

Just so i know, what is the advantage of the 4gb cards?
And when you mentioned getting an i7 instead, would that only be if i went with the 4gbs?

although what you want can be done in theory. thats all it is. most games turn off second and 3rd screens unless there specifically coded not to.
games tend to prioritize resources and very few will allow you to play with a second screen open all the time. most will randomly turn off the second screen till you alt tab out the game.
skyrim and fallout 3 are 2 games i know will allow you to do what you want. but in my experience most games wont allow it.

Haha! You can get an i7 with either setup, 4GB cards tend to be better with dual or triple displays, but seeing as you are getting 2 cards, the extra VRAM is pointless, it's for people who will essentially be doing what you're doing, but without an extra card

Not a bad spec - a single 780 would probably be the better way to go so that you can SLI down the road in a couple years when the performance needs of high end games increase beyond the capabilities of a single 780. Sadly, they don't have a model with double the video memory yet but that is probably coming up down the road. The additional video memory helps mostly with games with lots of texture affects like Dragonage and the other Elder Scroll game. I would probably up your PSU to 850W so that you will have the power to run a pair of 780s later.

Changing your graphical settings on the fly is going to be a PITA but it's doable.
