P8Z68 Deluxe and IRST driver

Hi everyone.

I'm having some issues with my ASUS P8Z68 Deluxe board.

Is it impossible to use IRST driver versions above 10.2 on this board? My install of Windows 7 refuses to load into Windows when I try for example IRST 12.6 or even the 11 series IRST.

Is there a way around this issue??

You need to know your current BIOS version, then update the BIOS according to the instructions on the BIOS download page.

FYI, Version 3603(Only for Win7 & Win8) Install version Intel Rapid Storage Technology driver to version 11.5.0.1207

P8Z68 DELUXE BIOS 3304
For proper operation, please ensure to update Intel Rapid Storage Technology driver to version 10.8.0.1003

The described method does not work and results in a halt and freeze on the windows loading screen when using IRST 12.xx.

Do I need to reformat my computer for using IRST 12.xx??

Much apreciated! I will attempt this...

Edit: It now seems I can run IRST 11.2 at least. Is there a way I can verify this is the installed version at the moment?
