Hi!

I'm planning to make a budget pc, which will include following things.

Cooler Master ATX 2.3 Thunder 600w
Western Digital CAVIAR GREEN 1TB 64MB
Gigabyte GF GTX560 1GB GDDR5
AMD Phenom x4 3,4ghz Black Edition, I will OC it to 3,8ghz btw.
Asrock 970DE3/U3S3
HyperX Red 4x2gb of ram
21,5" AOC monitor.

Question time.

Possible bottlenecking between CPU and GPU?

How much FPS I will get @ BF3 MULTIPLAYER, at low/medium/high/ultra at 720p resolution?

Thanks in advance, cheers.

Your HDD is en energy-saving one, may cause your game loading slower. Go for WD CAVIAR BLUE or Seagate ST1000DM001 (1TB)

GTX 560 may be a little out of date and slow. I would recommend HD 7850 or HD 6970 according to the price.

CPU is good and by buying an additional CPU cooler u could push it to 4.2Ghz.

By using a good GPU could get decent FPS over 30fps even in 1080p solution. (but better set it 720p in multiplayer to gain more smooth)

Please don't make an X4 build! The CPUs came out more than FOUR years ago! Do yourself a favour and get an I3 system!

Go from here

I watched gameplays with the same pc I will buy.. That guy played w/ HIGH settings and 720p resolution, and he got about 50+ fps..

That GPU has 2 coolers on it, so I don't think, that I will need to buy another cooler for it. 50 fps on high and 720p would be good.. Sorry about my English.
Are Phenom II x4 that bad you're saying? My friend has the same CPU paired with EVGA GTX 560 Ti, and he gets nice fps everywhere :<

Old CPU doesn't mean bad performance. Compared with i3-2100, Phenom 965 has higher clock speed and unlocked multiplier for OC, more L3 Cache (6Mb vs 3MB) and more cores, and it even cheaper than i3-2100. I don't say i3 is weak but it doesn't worth the money. GTX 560ti looks fine but also doesn't worth the price, therefore I consider HD 7850 or HD 6970 (the last-gen flagship which is on cheap sale)

Thanks everybody, I've bought FX 8350 paired with ASUS SABERTOOTH and GTX 680 Jetfire, 2 TB storage and 320gb SSD for windows for 800$. Works awesomely, chews any game on highest settings.
