Hello guys,
I'm having trouble mounting a new water cooler Thermaltake 2.0 extreme in my ASUS Z87 expert for a i7 4770k LGA 1150. Am i doing anything wrong? Is it really not compatible? Is there any adapts?

Please help!

Solution
No it should be compatible with the 1150 socket. I think the four grommets have to go with 1156, then make sure you put the plastic component(the thing that snaps together) correct on the retention ring. This should also be put to 1156. This should work as the only thing different on haswell are the number of pins in the socket. The mounting points are identical. Hope this helps out!

Holy shit! thank you so much! I'm not the one who posted this but still it was a relief seeing this! I just all the sudden realized my cooler might not be compatible with my socket 1150 motherboard... allready ordered my cooler and my CPU so it would be such a fail if it wouldn't work!
