good idea to go with nvidia project shield combo ?

hey guys recently i got an idea, i dont know if its a good one or not.
So iam having a pc now with me not a gaming pc, so i was thinking of buying a portable device that is nvidia project shield, but then i saw that it do requires a gaming pc for pc streaming, so i was think that if i buy one 600series graphics card
and nvidia project shield so will it be overall a good gaming experience if not where should i spent my money? :??:

I would just buy a good video card like a Nvidia 660 or AMD video card. Your base computer is good. Personally I would get at least a 22" monitor also.

I didn't say that but i'm not much of a portable gaming type guy. The Shield looks intriguing. You asked where to spend your money and I suggested you buy a good video card and a bigger monitor.

Like I said the Shield looks interesting to me because of the PC streaming, plays PC games( a console that plays PC games), wifi, connects to a TV if you have a TV and etc.

If it is something you want and will use. I say go for it. You may want to wait a few months after the release so Nvidia can work out any problems.

I think "intel hd graphic 3000" is not a gpu, but is integrated graphics. In other words you are using the cpu to run graphics computations. If you want nice frame rates even up to 60fps on even demanding games, spend some or all of the 400$ to get a graphics card.

Just to get a better idea about what you play, what game are you not getting your desired fps in?

I think you should get a Radeon HD 7850 or Radeon HD 7870, but get get one with 2GB Vram.

thanks but then also iam having 200 dollars with me, so where to spend that NOTE: i will not buy a new monitor because this is the perfect size for me.

I would get more ram too. If you are going to buy more dimms make sure you get the exact same part, if you can't do that replace them. I would look to try and get 8Gb or ram.

You could also get a P67 or Z68 motherboard, so that you can overclock your cpu. I have the same cpu and have it running at 4.8 Ghz. I order to do that you will need to get a decent aftermarket cpu cooler, I have the corsair H80i. On the other hand you can get an even better graphics card then the one I suggested, that way you can still max out your games years from now.

Again you haven't really told me much about what games you want to play, but even getting a half way decent graphics card will get you stable 30fps on most games.

and z68 is not available everywhere so how about z77 pro3?
