Here is my build that I created after reading and getting advice. I have some concerns on the Motherboard as there are so many and I want to get my money worth on one with good quality and service. I have owned both Gigabyte and ASUS boards. More recently Asus ROG boards. But read they have been having some quality issues? I didn't add a sound card yet as I was unsure of what board I was getting. The motherboards I was considering was the Hero, GD65 from MSI, MPOWER also. Any recommendations there?
This system for now will be running my Apple 27" Cinema display running at 2560x1440.
I will use this system mostly for gaming, but also Photo editing, video editing, and IT related stuff like VMWARE, etc. I have Windows 7 64 bit Enterprise or Win 8 Pro that I will install, depending what I want to use.
My max budget is $2400. So I am still under it a little.
