Hi i was just wondering what games this gaming rig could play and at what fps

CPU: AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz 6 core
GPU: Sapphire HD 7770 GHZ Edition 1GB
RAM: 16gb

Solution
I was able to play minecraft on the highest settings with a very old laptop so for that you should be fine. BF4 however is tricky because they're still in alhpa and don't know precisely how itl work on what system. For BF3 however, I play on the highest settings at a constant 60fps but my rig is a bit more fancy. This is just an educated guess but You should be able to run bf4 on medium at the very least with a good steady framerate (30-60). I might be wrong though.

I would not take those as real, they will be turned down a tad as the game is in alpha, we will really find out during the beta phase!

During the alpha phase they still don't optimize the game for best performance so it will actually be a less demanding game during beta.

is the GTX 650 Ti BOOST 1GB better than the hd7770 that i was going to put in?

I don't suggest it. I have the gtx 660ti FTW and its already a bit outdated. If your Motherboard is compatible, I suggest you check out the gtx 760. It costs the same as my 660ti but has better performance. Also you need to take into account the fact that if your CPU isn't as fancy as your Graphics card, you might get a bottleneck effect. Sort of like its a weak link in a chain. Your CPU looks like it can handle it without problems though.

its about £110 above the hd 7770, so its a bit out of my price range at the momnet

I figured as much. If you want to cut costs, PCs cant recognize more than 8gbs of ram on windows 64bit and only 4gb on windows 32bit so the extra 8gb of ram is more or less useless at the moment. That should save you about £25-£30.

It really depends on how well you want to play your games. The 650ti and the hd 7770 dont have too much of a difference. Check out the Hd 7850. Its somewhere in between the gtx650ti and gtx660ti.

My most realistic suggestion would be to save up as much money as you can until bf4 goes into beta at least. That way you can get a much better idea of what you will need and you will have more wiggle room in terms of you can get. I know its hard to wait around but it is the most sensible solution.

I have the money for the 7870 and I think I might buy that as with my CPU it should be capable of running games like crysis 3 and bf3 on ultra at 60+ fps

I highly doubt you're going to get that kind of performance on ultra settings unless you keep your resolution low. Here are the benchmarks for crysis 3. http://static.techspot.com/articles-info/642/bench/Medium_01.png I think you should be fine though
