I Recently bought an old laptop and installed the latest version of linux Ubuntu on it. For some of the laptops specs please the my other thread. I havent updated the video card drivers for the Geforce go 6150, and it only has 512mb of ram. I think those 2 issues may be the problem, but after I boot it up, if I try to do too much, The top of the screen will have yellowlines all the way across horizontaly. This is most likely because of the bad card driver, but it might be something else. I'm pretty sure this is a low ram problem, but when I try to open something it usually takes about 30 seconds or more to open the settings. Anyhelp with this or thoughts of yours are apreciated.

Solution
I doubt RAM is the problem. Graphics drivers are almost definitely the issue, and possibly even the performance issue. Activate the "Additional drivers" as mentioned above, and I'm guessing that'll solve the problem.
