Hi guys, any help on this brand new build would be greatly appreciated.

Is this setup a good selection? Is there something better I could have for a certain part or can I buy a cheaper part enabling me to spend more on my gpu or cpu?

EDIT: I think I should add that this will be my first ever pc build. I've had some experience with pc building such as replacing the RAM, GPU and CPU on my current system but have never done a pc build from scratch before.

solid build actually - can't say I would really change anything as the build is looking to be geared for silence performance balance. My one suggestion - Add a fan controller. A basic one would do fine. anything 10 watt per channel 3-4 channel. Main reason why aside from ability to go silent when not needing fan performance, is maintaining negative case pressure. The case and gpu card will benefit from negative case pressure - more exhaust than intake. So fan controller will allow to turn down to balance out, plus, when not full boat gaming, can turn down for quiet.

To maintain the sleek look of that case, maybe something like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811992005 and still has plenty of power per channel for the fans you have

Make sure to mount that rad up top, push/pull config, exhausting, rear fan exhaust, fronts intake. Be a quiet cool beauty

Thanks for the advice. I just had a quick look at reviews for the Phantek cooler and it seems to have got very good reviews. It looks absolutely huge though, do you have one yourself? If so what is it like noise wise? I quite liked the idea of the Kraken due to how quietly it seems to run.

I changed most of the build. The i5 4670 you chose wasn't the unlocked version and you said you will probably do overclocking. I also put you an H110 because it's a great cooler. I changed the case for the Switch 810 because it has better airflow than the H630 and you'll be able to fit the H110 with no problem and even do a push/pull if you wish,if you do push pull go for some Noctua 140mm fans PWM versions. I also upgraded you to a GTX 780 seeing as you won't be SLI-ing,a single GTX 780 will be a little bit more future resistant than a single GTX 770 it also performs slightly better. If you do plan on SLI-ing in the future,that PSU should be more than enough. I also put you an optical drive seeing as you didn't have one.

Thank you for your advice, very appreciated. In your opinion is the H110 a better cooler than the Kraken X60 that I'd originally selected? I was planning on replacing the two 140mm fans that come with the Kraken X60 with two of the Noctua fans I'd selected on partpicker due to what I've read about the stock fans being very noisy. Do you think doing this is worth it and is it possible to replace the stock fans on the H110 with two Noctua 140mm fans?

x60 and H110 perform near the same. That said the x60 is a bit louder on extreme settings. But with your plan to replace the fans with the Noctua, that is a non issue, and you will in fact find the x60 in THAT case will perform better than the h100 due to rad fin design

Edit: I do want to clarify - the gains over h100 is this case are small. using the upgraded fans on wither will improve performance. Make sure they are PWM as block controller you plug into is PWM. The rest of the case fans can be 3pin

Yes it's better because although the x60 performs a bit better it is also a lot louder. I put the noctua fans in the included build as custom parts. Get the Noctua 140mm NF-A14 PWM as these provide great static pressure. Yes you can replace them but I'd just get 2 noctua fans and keep the stock corsair ones as there not bad compared to the stock H100i fans. The stock H110 fans are a lot better

Would it be beneficial to replace all of the four 140mm preinstalled fans on the Switch 810 Ultra with four Noctua 140mm NF-A14 PWM's?

going to disagree on the fans.

A14 PWM 1.51 sp@1200rpm, 2.08 @1500rpm 67.6cfm @1200, 82.4cfm @1500 19.8db @1200 24.6db@1500
Corsair h110 stock fans 1500rpm results: 94cfm, 35db, 1.64mm/h20 sp

These are VERY different fans. An Noctua wins hands down for performance, especially given silence. yes corsair moves more air @1500rpm, but it has to with the low SP and it is louder - a LOT

Yes it will but I personally don't think it's worth spending $100 more on fans when you have some some already preinstalled.

But say I did want to replace all the fans. Is there a type of fan that would be best suited to replacing the two 140mm fans that are in the kraken x60 or H110. Would it be fans that offer the best airflow or should I be looking for something else?

I will say this again,go with the H110,it will give you the best performance without being noisy and even better performance if you do push/pull.Now,if you plan on doing push/pull don't replace the stock H110 fans they are perfectly fine and will save you the money of buying another 2 for push/pull BUT if you are willing to spend another $50 go right ahead

Thanks for the advice, very appreciated. I have one final question and it clearly highlights my lack of knowledge on the subject. My plan for my cooling was:

Front of case: 3 x 120 mm fans
Rear of case: 1 x 140 mm fan.
Bottom of case: 1 x 140 mm fan
H110: Keep the two stock fans as you suggested.

In total this comes to 7 fans but the motherboard I have selected states that it has 5 x 4-pin PWM fan headers. Does this mean I am limited to having 5 fans or is there a way to connect the remaining two fans? I take it there should be some 3 pin fan connectors on the mobo too right? Also is it important to make sure the two fans in the H110 are connected via 4 - pin PWM as they will be cooling the cpu? Also should each of the two fans in the H110 have there own 4 pin connection or is it okay to use a splitter and connect both the fans via one 4 pin connector? I feel these might be a slightly stupid questions but thought I better ask before I purchase the Noctua fans.

Ok well the case comes with a 7 fan connector that is located behind the side panel. This connector powers up to 7 fans via molex to psu. What I would do is connect all the case fans to the fan controller then if you buy the noctua fans you can connect them to the remaining slots,I would suggest to use the low noise adapter that comes with the noctua fans when connecting them as they are pwm and since its just a fan connector and not a fan controller they would run at maximum speed without the low noise adapter,and yes its included with the fans. Now for the H110 fans you can just plug those in to your motherboards 3 pin connector with no problem.
