First off do you plan on over clocking? Your CPU won't over clock and I would recommend you go with an fx-8320 and a cooler instead of the i5 you chose. Up to you, but I think you'd be better off that way if you would ever want to over clock. You also have an upgrade path to steamroller in the future and games are becoming better optimized for 8 cores. Other then that everything would work. For your GPU I have one question: what resolution are you gaming at? Good luck and hope I was of some help!

Very nice, however an AMD Cpu will benefit you nicely. Pair an fx 8320 or fx 8350 with a Gigabyte 990FXA UD3 or UD5 Motherboard an you´ll be set.
Your storage is pretty small, I would recommend a 1TB or 500GB HDD.
Next, the 7950 is an amazing GPU, it outperforms the new NVIDIA GTX 760 and in some cases the NVDIA GTX 770 too.
Finally, All the cables that you will need come with the stuff.

P.S. The CX 600M is actually an OK PSU. I have it and I have had no issues with it at all, some people are going to give you trouble about it, but i think it is a perfectly good PSU

all of these items will work. however, the 7870 tahiti is a good buy but i think the 7950 will be more futureproof. please note that your cpu will not overclock as you have to buy the 3570k with unlocked multiplier. i suggest going to the AMD side with their 8 core processors(8320,8350) there are lots of people saying that the AMD bulldozer series are horrible but they are actually pretty good. other than that all the parts that you have selected will do u good.

Go with the 7950 (I would say the gigabyte version since its the cheapest) it doesn't get much better than that unless you want to spend a lot. And I would go with an amd 8350 since its a bit cheaper than the 3570 and is supposed to perform noticeably better. If you do get an 8350 be sure to get an am3 or am3+ mobo and an aftermarket heatsink since they are pretty much made to overclock. Finally I would get a bigger hdd if you plan to hold very much like games. But besides that you should be set.

First off I have a CX600M as well. It's perfect for Single GPU solution!

As to your GPU choice I'd like to weigh in on that. First off the AMD 7950 does beat out the GTX 760, but only at resolutions above 1080p or with games like Tomb Raider with TressFX (which performs better on AMD cards). If you're set with AMD as your choice for GPU I'd got 7950 BECAUSE the release of the GTX 760 has driven down its price because it performs just as well at 1080p. Expect the 7870 Tahiti LE cards to drop as well.

If you want to consider the GTX 760 the MSI version with twin frozr cooler on Aria is £221.99 but is on preorder. Also note that to reach its peak performance you'll need to O/C it but it has proven to be an excellent overclocker. HardOCP has an entire article on the O/C performance of the MSI 760, how it compares to the 7950 at stock speeds, and how they compare overclocked. Here's a hint - they perform very similarly. While the 7950 will kill it with TressFX on, the GTX 760 will run PhysX better. You also get Shadow Play (easy recording) and the Geforce Experience (scans you computer to set settings to run well).

Do you plan on overclocking? If not then go with a i5-3350p or downgrade the motherboard and use the savings for a better component. Otherwise an 8 core fx chip would be the better path.

and a 7950 will not beat a 770. However, between the 760 and 7950, its your choice.
