Hello,
just did a secure erase of my OCZ Vertex 2 withn OCZ Toolbox. After that my drive simply disappeared in my Win 7. But it is present in the BIOS.
Any thoughts?

Many thanks,
Lucas.

Solution
When you Secure Erase any SSD it restores the drive to a blank "fresh-out-of-the-box" state. That's why the drive disappeared in Win 7.

You need to go into Windows Disk Management (as JasonPDK suggested), initialize the SSD, assign it a drive letter, and Quick Format the drive.

The drive should then be ready to use.

Yes. It shows in the BIOS. Already tried to reinstall Windows and change the SATA port. The BIOS recognizes it but Windows don´t.
