Hi guys.
So I recently built my own system, and on a test boot the PSU fan starts for a second, then stops. The mobo lights are on, the 'Kuhler h20' symbol on the CPU fan is also on. However the CPu fan doesnt start and... well nothing starts. WHat is the problem exactly?

Solution
Agree with hefox.

Breadboard your m/b on the top of the m/b box. Run only the bare minimum - cpu and fan, ram, hdd. If that boots, add gpu. If that boots, reinstall in case and move on.

Be sure you have the 24pin atx and 8pin eatx connectors firmly connected. Also, be sure all standoffs are installed and that none of the "fingers" on the i/o shield are misaligned.

CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K
M/B: Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD5H
GPU: EVGA GTX 660 Ti
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16 Gb (2x8) DDR3-1600 memory
PSU: Antec High Current Gamer 620W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply

I'm not sure about the piezo speaker

Thanks again

It might be a short. I suggest to take out the motherboard and boot the system outside the case. But before that make sure your cpu cooler is sitting properly and all the cables are connected.
