Just today, my fan started to make this weird clicking noise and i tried fixing it but nothing seems to be working. Help?

Sometimes it is a fan failing or defect while other times it may just happen to be a cable hitting it.

I have seen bad bearings start to rattle(defect).

Some fans make a very slight ticking noise, but it is very quiet(so quiet you need to be right next to it) and it normally happens when you are controlling the speed.

My guess is bad bearings. RMA if you can.

If it is that loud I regret to inform you it is failing(if it is a ball bearing, it may just run loud for along time, if it is a sleeve, it may slow down over time until it stops.).

Now that you mention that, I have a power supply fan do that 2 times in the past. Not even thinking about it, I just swapped the fans out.
