Is it worth getting Socket 2011 for $100 extra? They run on pci-e 2.0 so will i be getting slower performance with the 660?

Your two main uses are at cross purposes to one another.

LGA 2011 is better for the PhotoShop and the 1155, though now outta date since Haswell's arrival, is better for gaming

This will do better in both categories for less money @ $1527 (in my neck of the woods ... not sure how much NZ differs) and has significant quality upgrades in case, graphics, RAM and PSU .... and ya need a hard drive, optical drive and CPU cooler which I have included.

Case - $120 - Corsair 500R White http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811139010
$120 Corsair TX850 V2 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139022

MoBo - $140 - ASUS Z87 A http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131981
CPU - $240 - Intel Core i5-4670k http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116899

RAM - $140 - (2 x 8GB) Muskin CAS 9 DDR3-1866 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820226382

Cooler - - CM Hyper 212 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835709011
Cooler - $80 - Phanteks PH-TC14 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835709011
TIM - $7 - Shin Etsu http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835150080

GFX - $400 - Gigabyte GTX 770 Windforce http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125463

HD - $95 Caviar Black 1TB http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136533
SSD - $135 - Samsung 840 Pro 128GB http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820147192

DVD Writer - $50 - Asus Blue Ray Player / DVD Burner http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827135247

That's assuming gaming is the "main thing" ..... if it's photoshop, spend an extra $100 on then 4770k
