brand new computer running slow

My configuration is

i5 - 3570 3.4 ghz
Gigabyte 71 motherboard
8gb DDR3 Corsair Vengeance RAM
1gb Nvidia 9400 GT
1TB HDD WD 5400rpm
1 Optical DVD RW
450W Corsair SMPS

I tried playing FIFA 13 on this with full HD resolution but it lags
Photoshop also lags a lot

I have windows 7 64 bit

What is the problem can anyone help please?

9400GT is a weak card and was not even good for gaming when it was new like 6 years ago.

Having Windows on a 5400RPM drive is always a bad idea.

thanks a lot
the graphics card was the problem removed it and now it runs smooth even though in low settings
