hi guys.. im building gaming pc and i am noob in this matter..so i need help in getting the best build for gaming pc. can u guys give me suggestion for a build for 940$ gaming pc... between haswell and ivy bridge which one is better? and which one is better for OC?

Do you need a monitor/os/keyboard/mouse?
Where do you live?
Haswell is slightly faster than Ivy Bridge, but Ivy Bridge can overclock better because Haswell runs hotter when overclocked. When both overclock, they should both run the same but I wouldn't get Ivy Bridge now because LGA 1155 is now dead because new builders are going to go for the newer Haswell.
