I recently purchased my new graphics card and now I'm needing a new power supply, I was suggest to go out and get a 500W, will that be enough or am I highly recommended to get a higher one?

500W is plenty for that card! Be sure to get a reliable PSU from a well known company and you'll be set.

it will be neck to neck. better keep some room and buy a 550w. if u can, go for a 600-650w to accomodate any future upgrades.

Hi - a quality 500w(emphasis on quality) unit is enough, however, you may want to consider
a 550w unit (if your budget allows) as most major brands use 500 as budget/entry level
PSU's and the 550's as enthusiast/prof level PSU's, which have better internal parts
and longer warranties.
