hi there,

I want to ask if the shappire 7850 OC 2gb plays gamess well with the fx 6300?

More about : 7850 play games

It should play games good but it really depends on what games and what resolution you want to play them at. I personally have not used any low-mid range cards but from what I have read the 7850 is not a bad card.

The 7850 is an acceptable low-mid-range GPU, though depending on where you're buying and your exact budget, you might be able to get a better deal.

Should be good, man. Depend what settings u want. Your rig can handle mid-high settings in large games like Crysis 3, BF 3 or 4, FC 3, MP 3 or coming COD 10 and GTA 5.

You might check out the prices you could get on GTX 650 Ti Boost 2GBs and GTX 660s. Not sure how prices are in Nederland, but in the US the 650 Ti Boost 2GB tends to cost a bit less, while the 660 can often be found for only slightly more for significantly more power.

gtx 660 is slightly better than 7850, but 650 ti isn't better than hd 7850 though.

See the database:
HD 7850: http://www.techpowerup.com/gpudb/1055/radeon-hd-7850.ht...
GTX 660: http://www.techpowerup.com/gpudb/895/geforce-gtx-660.ht...
GTX 650 ti: http://www.techpowerup.com/gpudb/1188/geforce-gtx-650-t...

Indeed. I pointed out the 650 Ti Boost as a potentially less-expensive option, not as a more powerful one. My apologies for being unclear.

Right up until Nvidia released their 700 series the 7850 was the best mid range card for the buck according to Tom's. I bought the HD 7850 2 GB and it handles BF3 just fine. You can play ultra in singleplayer and very high in multiplayer.

It's a good card and it overclocks really well.. of course yours is already clocked from the manufactor.
The truth is that the 650ti can't overclock as near as much as the 7850 and therefore you should NOT buy a 650ti if you're choosing between those two. The 7850 can overclock to almost a 7870, which you OC'ed edition probably will be then.

You will be able to play all games at high settings expept for maybe games like crysis 3 (haven't tried it myself) but my guess is that you will be able to play at high settings too. So don't be afraid to pick that card up if that seems to be the best buy where you are. BUT if you can afford it you should try to go after the 7870.

I can choose:
Stock 7870 maybe not sure
7850 OC
And the shapphire can get 1 ghz

You said you can get this?

I'd rather get one of these... I found a stock 7870 for $210 so I think it is possible for you to get that card.

Okay I live in the Netherlands not in America.
In America there is a $20 difference between the two.
Here its 50 Euro what about 80 dollar is
And I said il go with the oc 7850 and overclock it :)

The overclocked edition is already overclocked from the manufactor so it's not really recomended to try to overclock any further.
