Hello i am building a pc and plan on buying 2 gtx 780s for sli.I will be playing on a single 1920x1200 monitor and will use another monitor for youtube and stuff while gaming.Question is some say 780 sli is over kill for single monitor but i look at the single 780 benchmarks and it cant run crysis 3 at 60 fps?And i want it to run the upcoming BF4 at atleast 60 fps with ultra settings and am not sure if a single 780 could do that. Can you guys help me chosse between sli and single card?

I recon you will be very happy with 2x780 I think you will get 60fps I have two 7970s in cf and if I use smaa I can pretty much get 60fps all the way I do have a 3930k but as long as you get something decent like a i7 4770k you should kick ass. How much do you intend to spend?

I agree with this. The performance difference between SLI 770s and 780s is, at most, 5-9 fps. Not worth $500 IMO. Also, on Crysis 3 at max settings, it takes thousands in graphics cards to get steady 60+ fps. The performance of two 770's in SLI with just a little tweaking of settings in Crysis 3 should absolutely give you a great gameplay experience. What is your CPU anyway?

Yeah you'll be fine. Get the dual 780's if you wish, but the difference between a pair of 770s and a pair of 780s is minimal.
