HI, i want to convert my video (AVI) to a format that plays smoothly on my Android (HTC Sensation)
However after finished to convert to MP4, and trying to jump into the middle of the movie, the sound start from the beginning of the movie and the pictures freezing.
I just cannot search in the video.

What should be the format i should convert to, its just not working.
Any idea please? Thanks!

Use Handbrake. It's a free software, and it has a setting that will automatically convert video to Android Phone codec.

Hope this helps :)

Your phone should be able to play the AVI file. Try downloading another player from Google Play. MX Player seems to work pretty well for most popular formats.

@Asus_USA: i have MXPlayer and can play AVI of course but the file is huge (700MB) and i would like to convert to around 70MB. I managed it but lost the sound. As i described previously i have converted to MP4 but when i was searching in the video, the sound started from the beginning and the video kept playing for that certain point, or frozen.

Compressing it that much will cause issues like that. You shouldn't really compress an AVI file to 10% of it's original size like you have :p

There is no way you can compress a 700mb file, which is already compressed, down to a 70mb file and have anything usable. Just get a larger memory card, you can get a 16gb card for a bit over $10.
