So here it is , 2 days ago i bought a new monitor PHILIPS 227E4L but since then my pc lags more often and i have to reboot it every 3-5 hours. But when i was using my old monitor Samsung syncmaster 710N "too old".I have to mention that i dont have an optical drive so i couldn't install the files that where in the disc that came with the monitor but i download the drivers from the official site of phillips. Here is my system rig :

mobo : gigabyte b75m-d3h
cpu : intel core i3 3220
ram : 6 gb (4 + 2)
intel hd graphics

So is it my graphics that can't handle this monitor or should i get more RAM memory ?

It's likely to do with the fact that your new monitor is probably a higher resolution.

You say you have to "reboot the system every 3-5 hours" - why is this? Does it get so sluggish that you need to restart it to restore a "snappy" feel?

The pc just starts lagging even on google chrome after a couple of hours.Yesterday i tried to play my lightest game on pc nfs most wanted 1 and i got a blue screen .Also if i play any game on my pc after the start of the lag it pops me out . dont know the reason :(

1) What OS, windows xp or windows 7. 32 bit or 64 bit.
2) Have you downloaded and install Intel's latest Video driver for iGPU (HD2500)
3) Your Ram 4 + 2 = 6:
... Requires 64 bit OS.
... How is this configured. Unless this is a 2 x 2 + 2 x 1 thn Most likely you are runing single channel

issues:
.. Higher resolution puts more demand on GPU
.. Have you checked your ram. Down load:
...... CPUID CPU-Z and look at ram. click on memory tab and look at speed/cl ratings (are they correct) also check to see if Nr of channels = 2 (for daul mode)
...... Download Prime 95 to check that memory is not giving ay errors. PS Prime 95 also heats up the cpu so monitor temps. Also look at your +12 V as this loads the 12 V rail +12V should not drop below 11.6V
*** CPU-Z: http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html
*** Prime 95: http://www.mersenne.org/freesoft/

.. If Win 7, you do not need the "ini" file for your monitor _ BUT do need driver.
.. for Video driver for windows 7 64 bit. Latest is dated 3/21/203 15.28.15.64

scoot down and on left you will see what games are playable for an HD2500 - NOT many that tasks the GPU.
