Hello everyone :)

I had been using an Intel DZ68BC motherboard till now, but owing to the bugs in its BIOS which Intel has failed to rectify (Broken multipliers, random reboots, unsupported processor errors etc), I'm left with no option but to dump this one and get a new motherboard and need suggestions for that. I have a budget of Rs. 12k (200$).

My system specifications are:
Intel i7 2600k (I plan to overclock)
HAF X cabinet
2 * Zotac GTX 560Ti SLI
2 * 4GB Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz RAM
2TB Seagate HDD
Corsair H60 cooling kit

I had been considering the MSI Z77A-GD65 Gaming Motherboard. I require the 1394 port which this had inbuilt. Spending extra on a 1394 pcie card for any other board didn't really appeal me.

Kindly suggest me the best. :)

@murrayhart I get what your saying, I`m just a bit of a Gigabyte fanboy... Thats why I got myself the G1 Sniper M3, may be a mAtx but it does the job and yes I know the Maximus V Gene is better but it`s a bit more expensive but if you don`t mind that then yes you should really go for that!!!

Its always just a case of personal prefrence, everybody has there own. Mines is Asus yours Gigabyte the bottom line is theres many good boards out there to choose some better thn others.

If i was looking for a nice board for clocking a Sandy then i would go with Asus Maximus IV/V Gene in a heartbeat.

You could pick up a IV cheap now i imagine, that could be worth a look.
