Hi Experts,

I have an Core I7 System which I use mostly for 3d rendering. I have calculated the power requirement for my PC and I have attached a screenshot of that. You can know my system Specifications from that screenshot. I m using Huntkey 500W PSU. Now my Questions are

1)How much power will my PC consume from the wall for 1 hour, when I put it in extensive rendering (for 1 Hour) in terms of Kilowatt. I know its very hard to tell in accuracy. Some approximate values will help.
2)How much power will my PC consume from the wall for 1 hour, when it is in idle (Not rendering)
3) If I connect 5-6 Similar PCs to my home electrical line, will there be a problem?

Thanks

the 400-500 Watt of your system is per second :) so do the math for 1 hour :)

as for what it draws from the plug , you will need high efficient GOLD or Platinum power supply so that you dont loose much power in heat ... add 10-15% to your system power for GOLD .

your System will draw around 500 watts per second from the plug.
