Solution
CPU: Intel Core i5 3470 (Rs 12400)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3H Rs 4350
RAM: Kingson HyperX 4GB (1x4) DDR3 1600 MHz (Rs 2300) (buy another of the exact same one when u have more money)
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 500 GB Rs 3300
Case: Bitfenix Merc Alpha USB 3.0 Rs 3540
PSU: Corsair CX500 Rs 3650

Total: comes to almost 30k, try checking local stores for better deals, sorry i know its over budget but its the bare minimum required for decent gaming, in the future when u get more money upgrade list
1. get another stick of the same RAM
2. get a 12-15k GPU (again bare minimum)

Answer: No....

Request: please convert your currency price to Euro, Dollars, Pounds, we users dont want to convert 500 diffrent currencies.

When your saying future proof = gamble with larger amount of money.

What comes nearest to future proof will cost you around 1300 euro's....

i3 is a dual core and dual cores are already out of date. Couple of years down the line not even an i5 would be able to handle games let alone a dual core i3

no, ur rig won't be future proof, however i disagree that i5 won't be able to handle games
u have chosen the wrong motherboard
also in 5k INR u can't get a decent gaming card, the best u can get is a GT630 which will only play games in low settings

In general, the i3-3250 is still capable of playing games since the vast majority of games still only use 2 cores. That will not change in the future. While in general more games will be coming out that can use more than 2 core, the vast majority of games will use only 2 cores. Now if you want to play certain specific games like Battlefield 3 in multiplayer mode, Crysis 3 and Metro 2033 / Last Light, then you would get better performance with a quad core CPU. But they can still be played with a dual core CPU.

RS5000 translates to $83 USD. The best graphics card you can get for $83 in the US is a Radeon HD 7750 when it is on sale. I do not know how much that card sells for in India.

Will a Core i3-3250 + Radeon HD 7750 be "future proof" for up to 5 years from now? As long as you do not mind lowering the resolution and graphics quality in newer games as time goes on.

Actually i have one 250gb hdd with me so thought of using it in my new pc
bdw i have 2gb ddr2 ram also but i don't think it will support in this mother board

2 sticks of RAM means that the RAM will be working in dual channel mode rather than single channel mode. On average that means performance should increase by 10% (15% in the best case scenario).

While the Core i5-3470 is a good CPU, the integrated Intel HD 2500 graphics core has pretty low performance. I suppose it's good enough to play some older non graphic intensive games, it is significantly slower than the Intel HD 4000 graphics core found in the i5-3570k, which is not considered to be very powerful either.

As long as you don't mind playing games at low resolution and settings until you can save up enough money to buy something like a Radeon HD 7750, then the i5-3470 is the way to go. See below for some benchmarks and the source (which has all the benchmarks):
