actually whenever i browse for any videos in youtube there will be unwanted ads on the top . i dont want suck ads . I use maxthon cloud browser 4.1.0.1200-beta

Solution
Ads that are a part of the video itself aren't blocked obviously, but since I started using Adblocker I haven't gotten any of the pop up ads in Youtube videos or any of the pre-video ads where you have to watch for a few seconds.

Ads are an unfortunate part of the internet these days. None of us "want" them.

Sometimes there is a "mute ad" "close ad" or "skip ad" option on the top right or bottom right corner of them. That's about all you can do.

Does that work with youtube? Just curious.... I know it does wonders for less "professional" sites with tons of pop up ads etc.

Assuming your meaning non obtrusive ones like their header ads that you can turn off / mute. An ones that are built into the videos.

I know this is an old thread but I'll add to it anyway...

Have you denied cookies for YouTube?
If you are cautious and want to limit your online footprint, you may have elected to deny cookies with YT.

However this also has an adverse effect. Included within the cookie is how often an ad is displayed; 1 ad for every 3 vids that you watch or 1 ad every 5 vids etc - since the cookie is denied, it cant tell that an ad was played recently and so does it on every video that you watch.

Even if this answer doesnt help the original poster, I hope it helps someone :)
