HP Tech support should be able to help as well. Do you have the RAID controller(s) enabled in your BIOS to allow you to access the RAID configuration?

ok i to the site but when it says to select an os i do not see the os that i am going to put on my server

Try googling these terms "hp smart array configure for ubuntu server". As you can see, you may have some hoops to jump through to configure your system as desired.

How many drives and into what config of RAID are you trying to set up?

6 drives and raid 1+0, why does it have to have a os can't it just tun like a bios

The application runs from the OS. You can configure the RAID controller without an OS by pressing the proper key sequence upon start up (like CTRL-I, F8, etc) to start the controller's embedded utility.
