Hi guys,

Ok so I am using a GTX 660 2gb OC Windforce edition, and the Geforce experience thing tells me the following games cannot be optimised:

ARMA II Operation Arrowhead
Planetside 2
Team Fortress 2
Skyrim
The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings (Enhanced edition)

I have no idea why this is the case or how I can fix it - anyone help? I'd love to be getting the best out of my games for all the money I spend and want to see what all the fuss is about with Geforce specific games!

Cheers

You'll need to check the list, but not all games are supported for GeForce Experience optimization.

I checked before - sorry should have mentioned - all of these games on this list are on the games supported list - but nothing changes

Guess I'll need to check the list...

What's your OS, CPU, RAM, and Monitor Resolution?

I'm running Windows 7 with an i5 3570k, 8gb ram and i'm using a tv as a monitor, this one: http://www.amazon.co.uk/LG-26LC2R-Widescreen-Ready-LCD/... which has a best fit of 1176x664, which I think it translates to 720p not 1080p, but runs at 60Hz. (probably buying a pc specific monitor as soon as i can)

Best fit? Are you running the games at that crazy resolution? No, that's not even 720p (1280x720).

That may be your issue.

Ballsack! Figured this tv would be the problem but I really didn't want to have to spend more money -_- Since we're here can you recommend any good monitors for a decent price? I'm UK based, by the way.

Cheers

I'm happy with my little ASUS, but any of these will work well. What's your budget for a new monitor?

Either one of those two Dells, then. The UltraSharp has anti-glare, and the other one is glossy. Both are great.

What about this? For the price I just hope I can trust it, what's the difference between this and the Dells you recommended? Also I used an HDMI cable to connect the LG to the back of my pc, does it make a difference not using HDMI for example with this monitor? I use a headset all the time for sound .

Looks fine, but you might want to start a new thread asking which monitor to buy in the UK for your budget - I'm not an expert by any means. And yes, HDMI can cause scaling issues, so the best choice is DVI - the monitor will come with the cable to connect to your GPU.
