i recently moved and sadly chose Cox Cable as my ISP. i have a wireless cable gateway NETGEAR CG3000D. (connected to laptop hardwire [and at times] wireless).

i typically connect to my office via VPN. I have never had an issue with any other ISPs. (i often use a verizon jet pack on the go), even mcdonalds wont restrict me!

Now that i am settled and have cox cable; i can connect to my vpn, but when i go to access intranet sites for my office, cox bounces me back an "unable to find" page.

I have called cox, even gone down to their retail location, no one is willing to even speak to me regarding this. (i think im up to 11 calls today, im either hung up on or asked to call back)

I am at a loss if it is cox or my hardware? I am a programmer --so im not entriely vapid with IT.

cox's triage team, which can barely use correct grammar --refuses to let a real "tech-team specialist" speak to me.

i even called netgear, --they couldnt understand my issue.

has anyone experienced this? perhaps there is a setting i am missing? I have zero pride at this point and am willing to "reboot 3x sideways"!

Help!
