How can I get my pc, laptop and PlayStation 3 to see each other over my roommate's wireless router? I think the problem stems from the device's use of different connecting technologies / speeds because I get 300 Mbps with dual N on PC, 130 Mbps with the laptop and Wireless G with the PS3 (I think). The PCs are running Windows 7 home premium. All devices can get on the internet.

No actually your rommate would need to actually get into the router's manual and settings and set the devices to not be 'isolated'. Most HotSpots use a isolating technology in the router so it is just device to router speaking, rather then device broadcast to everything on the router and letting everything know it can share files, printers, etc.
