mSATA Cache drive with SSD primary drive?

I am configuring a laptop and I am planning on putting a 256 GB SSD as the primary and boot drive. I am considering the merits of also installing a 16GB mSATA SSD for use as a cache drive.

Question: Will i receive any performance boosts from this arrangement?
Hibernation is a no-no with an SSD, will that be an option with the SSD cache included?
Finally, what sort of power consumption is normal for a mSATA SSD ; that is, will the drain on my battery life outweigh any benefits?

There is little need for a mSATA SSD if you already have an SSD.
However, the mSATA drive will use very little power.
Performance: depending on how much faster the mSATA drive is, you will not get much performance, especially if the 256GB SSD is a 840 Pro or a Vector.
Unless money is really no option, I see little point of getting a mSATA SSD along with your main 256GB SSD.
