The leadtek GTX 660 is £138 but all the other brands are about £150 or £170, why is the leadtek so cheap? I can't find any reviews or benchmarks anywhere.

I do not trust leadtek, you get what you pay for. For Nvidia cards you should look at EVGA, MSI, Asus and Zotac.

Nvidia have a program set up where aftermarket card are not allowed to be worse that reference ones, so its usually pretty safe. Though for that price I'd rather have a 7850.

GTX660 is faster than 7850. Leadtek cards haven't been widely available in Britain for years, but 10 years ago they were a highly regarded brand. Time when the recession dropped the number of motherboard manufacturers widely available in Britain from over a dozen down to just four was also when Leadtek retreated to focus on the SE Asian markets. Anyway quick answer - yeah they should be absolutely fine :-) You buying on ebay?

Yes. For £134 I could get a sapphire 7850 2GB overclocked, everyone says that the 7850 overclocks very well, what about the 660? Which card do you think is better for gaming?

I only make recommendations based on guaranteed performance (i.e. not overclocking, which varies hugely between cards even of the exact same model due to where the die is cut after fabrication) so I'd absolutely take the GTX660. Over 15% faster as standard.

Here, this is the same card, better price, better brand, and is preferred for gaming. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... about 102.62 pounds. :)  Have an awesome day.

Doesn't work like that :-P Like every other country we'd have to pay import duties on getting that, plus international shipping. Hardware is cheap as standard in America but if we could benefit from that, everyone would be doing it!

Alright. Im using Leadtek WinFast GTX 660 Ti for about 3 months now, so far I don't have problems with it. Just because is not famous doesn't mean is not good. I fried my ASUS ENGTS450 w/o OC. Sometimes it depends on luck whether you got the rights one or the faulty one. I'm playing BF4 with Ultra Setting and it runs smoothly. The build quality is solid and I'm from Malaysia so after conversion from USD to MYR it cost me USD$265. It varies on where you're from based on the price and is it a good bargain, in my place is consider a good bargain

Here's my rig:

MBO: ASUS A88XM-A
CPU: AMD A10 6800K
GPU: Leadtek WinFast GTX 660 Ti
RAM: Kingston HyperX 8GB 1866Mhz
PSU: GIGABYTE ODIN 550W
CASE: Cooler Master CMSTORM SCOUT 2

Cheers!
