Any possible way to make this build a bit cheaper?

I'm mostly using this build for 3D animations and video editing, but will be playing some games every once in a while :)

if its 3d animation, then i would check if whatever program you use can properly use intel's hyperthreading feature. otehr than that, the bulk of the cost is due to the price gap between a 770 and a 780

Damn, then keep the I7... :D 

Uhm well I really would say increase the RAM to something better, you can drop to the GTX770 and consider SLI later?
But all of those things kind off sting... LOL Your build is pretty well optimized already...
