I was wondering which would be the best solution for connecting the fans on my asus sabertooth z77 mobo.
I have the NZXT phantom full sized also of which I currently have the front, 2 side fans, and 2 top fans connected.
Would it be a better choice to connect them to my mobo? Or does it even matter at all?

You can conect them to the mobo and then run thermal radar to tune speeds based up temps. Set the fans up so that they stay quiet at low temps and then ramp up when the system is under load to keep temps in check.

Each onboard fan header can support a max of 1amp of current (12W) - so just make sure each fan pulls less current than that and you should be fine.
