$500 Rig - Are these parts compatible? Can I overclock this system?

Hey I've just made a new $500 rig for gaming and school use.

Approximate Purchase Date: Over the next 2 weeks

Budget Range: $500 (give or take a little)

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, surfing the internet, writing school papers

Are you buying a monitor: No

Future Upgrade Pathways: Yes

Do you need to buy OS: No

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: any from pcpartpicker.com or any where deemed legit and cheap

Location: Bismarck, ND USA

Parts Preferences: Looking at AMD now

Overclocking: Yes

SLI or Crossfire: No

all those parts are compatible, and you should be able to overclock it. nice choice of parts.

I'd look for a different mobo, either Asus, the Rock or GB

Would you recommend any particular board for a budget build? I don't think I'll need to OC my system. I plan to play guild wars 2 and I'd be satisfied with medium set graphics and runescape which I feel will run great no matter what. I'm thinking the ASUS m5a97 r2.0 LE. What do you think?
