So I have been checking out various benchmarks for certain games mostly on videos on Youtube and other PC game websites.

Sometimes when i compare my average frames to theirs, I fall slightly or sometimes much below theirs, even when I'm also using a lesser resolution then they are.

In most cases the system they are using is virtually identical to mine give or take some RAM, and PSU wattage.

If this normal? or should I look more into it to see if somethings up?

You can check Nvidia's Website. The last update was on July 1st. The 320.49, If you think you have this update but not sure you can do this

Go to the Start, Under all programs there's a white bar. Type in Device Manager and press ENTER.

Go to Display Adapters Click the +. Right click your Graphics Card and Click property's. Go to the Driver Tab. Next to Driver Version it should say a bunch of Numbers. The last 5 Numbers on that should Match the latest driver version(320.49) on the Nvidia Website. If it doesn't then you need to update your Graphics Drivers. Just download the Driver and install it. If you want to...

Well I would 1st take a look if all your Drivers are up to date. I know for a fact that Nvidia sometimes add's a little "Enchantment" to some games like Far Cry 3 and Starcraft. They give huge performance boosts up to 20% in some games! So I would check that out make sure you have your Drivers.

Sorry to say but that's the biggest mistake in the world. Get onto the nvidia website and download the latest drivers. They have a drop down search function, so just look for the GTX 770.

After you download that(If you don't have that version) Restart your Computer and let me know if any of your games have a FPS Improvement. :D :)

There are loads of Youtube clips claiming games are running at settings they cannot be just ignore them. Professional benchmarks are done on clean windows installations with no background programs running like antivirus etc. but should be close to real world performance as long as the hardware and settings are identical, but GPU benchmarks are always done on the best CPU and vice versa. Synthetic benchmarks are often a better indicator of if everything is running as it should.
