Computer Crashes With Every Game

Hello. I recently put together my new desktop and every time I play a game on it, the computer and screen lock up and I get a really annoying noise that sounds like a buzz that just repeats. I was wondering what I could do to check on all my hardware to see what is causing the problem. I ran a MemTest86 for 10+ hours to check my RAM and came back with no errors as well. I also ran OCCT and during the CPU test it ran at a consistent 60-62'C. I had previously run FurMark as well for a GPU test and it barely ran over 70'C, maybe 80'C if I did the most intense tests. But I decided to run the GPU test on OCCT and barely 4 minutes in black and white bars appeared on the screen and when the screen went back to "normal" there was tearing on the wallpaper and the actual cursor as well. Interesting?

Specs:
Intel Pentium CPU G620 @ 2.60 GHz
Gigabyte Radeon HD 6770
Gigabyte H61MA - D3V Mobo
G.Skill RipjawsX 8 GB
WD Black 1 TB
LOGISYS Computer PS575XBK 575W ATX12V SLI Ready Power Supply

Any help would be appreciated.

The 6770's I have seen have around a 500w requirement and all used 6 pin connectors and seem to be pretty power hungry cards considering, the 6670 is about what you describe though. In reading some reviews on that supply the OP listed some people are complaining that it isn't even pulling 400w, so that could definitely be the culprit.

I wasn't watching very closely but I think the temp was around 74'C.

Got the latest drivers for GPU, motherboard drivers I already have most of them from the disk that came with it and the ones I don't think I have are for USB and intell SATA preinstall driver and marvell SATA controller driver (which I don't now what the heck those are for). For the processor only driver update is a intel hd graphics update which is useless for me. Interesting thing to note however, when I was looking for driver updates my screen was flickering a lot and it finally just went to a full white screen and I had to reboot my computer to get my screen back.

And that driver was by searching for it manually by putting in my processor type. When I had the intel driver update utility scan my system it had no new drivers suggested.

Apparently most 6770's run at a coreclock of 850, but mine is at 775. So technically I am already underclocking, or it might just be a weaker chipset.

I lowered the clock rate that was at 775 MHz down another 60 MHz and the memory was already as low as it could go 1000/1200. 30 seconds in and there was obvious flickering and screen tearing, another minute in and I went head and stopped the test because the screen was freaking out and there was obviously a problem.

Before you RMA the card, I would also try and re-seat it and double check that you have the 6 pin power connector from your power supply is firmly in place (and make sure it is the right one). It's sounding more like a bad card, but worth double checking it before sending it back anyways.

Edit: That is a pretty dodgy looking power supply too I hate to say, so I would especially make sure you are using the 6 pin pci-e adapter and not one of the 4+2 pin p4/p8 adapters instead by mistake. I would seriously consider looking at a different power supply as well, it is arguably one of the most important pieces of your build and probably the worst component to go super skimpy on. Just my 2 coppers.

Yeah I've tried re-seating the card and all that junk. Do you have a power supply that you'd reccomend?

Get a power supply from Corsair, Antec or XFX or one that has good expert (not customer) reviews. I was going to mention it before but the 6770 uses so little power I didn't think it would matter. Also I thought the 6770s didn't need a power cable and are powered though the motherboard.
