Hi

I am currently using a GTX 780 Windforce OC edition. And since the installation I have been encountering driver crash issues multiple times, since the inital 320.18 to 320.49, the issue persists even after switching to 326.01 driver. I began to wonder if it's the issue with graphic card itself or something else might be wrong.

Things I've done after driver crashes.

1) Reinstall 320.49 WHQL driver: issue persists
2) Disable windows aero theme: only 8 hours ago, haven't tested out intensively.
3) Clean install 326.01 driver: changes were made 8 hours ago, only one crash occured (BF3, see below).
4) Using afterburner to manually set fan speed

Note: 780 is running on stock speed, and Virtu MVP is disabled.

The games that I've been experiencing crashes:

1) Sniper Elite V2 + Nazi Zombie: Most crashes occur in this game, inital fix was recommended to disable advanced shadow, aa and turn on vsync, however, the problem still exists. Each gameplay would not last more than 30 minutes. The prompted error message is basically a driver crash notice at the lower right corner of windows UI. Haven't tested after 326.01 driver

2) Metro Last Light: only once, the game crashes in the level where you encounter refugees. The whole gameplay session last about an hour and half. Same error message shown as in V2. After a clean install of 326.01 driver I've run the MLL benchmark for 10 times continuously, no error message or driver crash so far.

3) Battlefield 3: once, in the level of "Comrades" short after you wear gasmask and proceed to stairwell. No driver crash message, only a DX error message showed up. The gameplay sessions lasts about 40 minutes to 1 hour. Note this occurs after I've installed 326.01 driver.

Games not experiencing crash so far:

1) Saints Row; The Third: No crashing even for once, have been playing this for like 2 days. Everything is set to max in dx11 mode, no vysnc.

2) Sins of Solar Empire: No crashing during a 6 hour gameplay session.

If there are any suggestions for this issue or similar problems, please reply; and I can provide more further information.

Solution
Iam runing a 780 on a 600watt psu also with no problems, but silverstone is not THE best company.
Also try diffrent, older drivers, you never tried before.
But yea, RMA it before its too late.

download evga precision, click on voltage there, click overvoltage, and add +13mv.
i have a refrence model 780, and had crashes until i added voltage, since urs is factory Oc'ed you might wanna try adding either 15mv, or +25.( you can probably do it with afterburner too, but evga precision X is much better IMO)

also, check temps( even though i doubt ur card is overheating)
u can also try removing all drivers completely, and then installing the latest WHQL one.
and tell me the rest of ur system.

My PC setup:
Intel i5 3570k @ stock
ASRock Z77 Extreme 4
DDR3 RAM 8GB 1600MHz @stock
Samsung 840 1120 GB SSD
Seagate 1TB 7200RPM
Silverstone Stride Plus 600W

I will try this and see how that affects the issue.

Okay I did add 13 and 25, the first time (13mv) crashes after about 20 minutes less, while 25mv crashes only after 5 minutes or less, on sniper elite nazi zombie.

I might RMA it tomorrow and get a replacement. See how that will change (or not) the situation. If it's the insufficient psu problem then I will probably get a higher psu.
