Headset or Surround Sound Speaker System?

if you want the same quality you get on speakers as you do with headphones, you'll have to pay more for better speakers. headphones have overall better quality for a cheaper price. it really depends on what you want to do with them. games i would suggest headphones. watching a movie with your "friend" then speakers

and
this one (speaker set):
Logitech Z906
I own however:
Logitech G35 and Logitech AudioHub. Those above do not fit to my budget, they are waaaayyy to expensive fo me.
Note:
During games, I like to wear headset better than using speakers. No reason, just personal preference.

Surround headsets do tend to be a LOT cheaper than surround speakers, so I would recommend headphones rather than speakers. The Steelseries Siberia V2s with a good sound card is a good choice.

Well, the Siberias are probably your best bet (the usb edition is only 110) but other than that theres not much. The Razer Tiamat 2.2 and Kraken Pro are both below $100
