Q1: yes.
Q2: yes.
Q3: yes.
Q4: yes. but you could go for an FX-6350 which i think is the same price, and better, and newer.

edit: the 6350 is a little more expensive, the 6300 is the one i was thinking of.

I agree with Rhavi Marques. I have owned a 965, 6100 and now a 8350. 965 is good, but too old, avoid Bulldozer, the Pyledrivers (6300 is $119) are all good, easy to OC, more efficient, and feel snappier all the time. $20 is too little to save in the bigger picture of things!

Same price.. Intel is just better. You can easy make cheap intel build too.

Solution

No. You need DDR 3 memory all new builds. DDR 4 is just coming out. I think they make DDR 4 right now but it is not for desktop boards. So that must be to servers or some like that. To AMD builds is good to have 1866MHz memory and for Intel 1600MHz is fine (make sure it is 1.5V for intel) All intel mobo do not work with 1.65V memory and asrock Z-77 mobos did have issue with kingston memory kits. They did not work first. But when you did upgrade the bios then they did work.
