So well i had done a little research over the net and came up with a configration for my PC and i thought i should take pro advice first so well here is what i chose let me know if i can make some improvements on this

CPU - AMD BULLDOZER FX 8320

M/B - ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0

GPU - ATI 7750 1GB DDR5 SAPPHIRE

RAM - 1x8GB DDR3 CORRSAIR LAP 1600

HDD - 1TB SEAGATE (64 MB) (7200 Rpm)

DVD-RW - SAMSUNG/LG SATA

Monitor -BENQ LED 22" (GW 2255) VA PA

Cabinet - Cooler Master 690 II Advance

SMPS - Corrsair VS550

well all this + a few other stuff gonna cost me aroung $850 so should i go with this or is there a chance of improvement.

Solution
Hey can you tell what is your budget excluding the extra stuff like the UPS + Headphones + Speakers + The extra stuff

I just want to know the price for the build itself. We need a fixed budget to plan the build. I have no clear idea that how much money you are actually having for the build excluding all the other stuff.

I would suppose that for the build alone you currently have 45,000 Rupees.

CPU : AMD FX 6300 : 6990

Mobo : ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0 : 5190

HDD : 1TB SEAGATE (64 MB) (7200 RPM) : 3847

RAM : 2 x 4 GB DDR3 KINGSTON 1600 : 3904

DVD : SAMSUNG/LG SATA : 866

Monitor : BENQ LED 22" (GW 2255) VA PA : 7400

Cabinet : CM HAF 912 : 4190

Graphics Card : ZOTAC NVIDIA 650TI 1GB DDR5 : 9090

There are not good quality PSU at that...

i could have really taken the 300r case but it is not available around my place and i dont wanna go got an online purchase no specific reason just like that as for the current case it looks really good fell in love with if on the first instance :D

hmm i could consider upgrading the gpu but this one is good enough i guess

ofcource i can speak Hindi i did take a look at the HAF 912 seems a pretty solid option and its kinda cheaper than the 690 II Advance well i guess i'll have to visit the store again to take a look at it :D

basically i am looking for something which has really good cooling options like a lot of fans cause i heard that AMD gets really hot idk if its true but i wanna be on the safer side

Hey siddhart, wait there are quite a lot flaws in your build. Why are you pairing a 8320 with a 7750. It is a no brainer, CPU does not affect the performance of the games much, the GPU does, so better get the FX 6300 and spend the saved money on the GPU

And the PSU you selected, literally sucks. It does not have any 80 plus certification and it is not efficient. The current from this PSU might damage some parts.

There are some other flaws too in your build, so let me just pick the parts for you. I assume your budget is around 50,000 Rupees. Isnt it?

Wait for like 10-15 minutes. I will post the build i think is the best for 50,000 Rupees. Since 850 dollars = Around 50,000 Rupees. Just wait and i am soon coming up with a cool build.

well as for the processor i went with the 8320 cause it has like 8 cores i know windows does not go quiet well with 8 cores but with a few tweaks it works really good and i guess a cpu with 8 cores is a really cool option for gaming as for the gpu hmm well i was first going for the 6670 but later i upgraded to 7750 dont think i wanna upgrade more it really is enough for my requirement

as for the PSU i am confused myself i want some PSU with which i can overclock the cpu easily and can take some power surges just incase so well i am open for PSU

for the rest i really looked deep into them and i guess there is hardly any room for up gradation in this price range unless i an going for some degradation and up gradation at once as u said for the processor and the GPU
of and BTW i am still waiting for the build u were gonna post
and yes my budget is around 50k in which i gotta buy a pair of headphones + speakers + ups and some more stuff

and just to be a bit helpful i am going with this price list its the cheapest i can get in Delhi http://www.costtocost.in/list/pricelist.pdf
and thankyou for atleast looking into the matter
thx to sn1992 too :D

Hey siddharth wher do u live i have a spare fsp epsilon supply 80plus marking i used it for 3 months and got 850w supply as for my graphics card was heavy and the cooler too
U buy the psu from me for 3000rs i bought it for rs 5000
If u r interested i wud mail u d piks

Gaming pc's need strong graphic cards
use an FX 6300
2 x4 gig of RAM
Id take the Asrock extreme3 over the ASUS LE because it has some heatsinks on the vrms
a quality budget case for $50
and a Radeon 7850 [ or better ] if you expect to play games well
A corsair CX 430 watt psu would run it , but 500 watts would be better

well i am not just gonna play games on the pc i was thinking of rendering some videos too and i guess a processor with 8 cores is pretty good.
a friend of mine is already running a pretty similar configuration since 2 years now and he havent had any problems in his hardware. as for the cooling the case offers water cooling option and upto 10 fans i think that should be enough am i missing something here?

There are not good quality PSU at that store and the good quality ones costs very much, so i have included a link to buy a PSU from Flipkart. They are very reliable online store. I buy a lot of things from Flipkart, never had any problems with them, so get the PSU from Flipkart.

From Flipkart :

PSU Corsair CMPSU-500CXV2UK 500 : 3900

http://www.flipkart.com/corsair-cmpsu-500cxv2uk-500-watts-psu/p/itmd5xz45f8cnrhg?pid=PSUD5XZ4CEUXM4GH&otracker=from-search&srno=t_2&q=corsair+500W&ref=58028045-5b59-4121-a6db-c77173ce1583

This is the best you can build for 45,000 Rupees. You really do not need a 8320 when the 6300 gives the same performance in gaming. So just get the 6300 and in the future overclock it to get superb performance. For gaming, you really do not need a 8 core CPU. The 6 core CPU would give similar performance. Believe it or not but that is the truth.

If you think that the answer helped, then don't forget to select it as the best answer. It would be highly appreciated by me.

well i took it as a solution but still i am gonna make a few changes in this
1. the PSU u told me about is a 2 pin one without an option of earthing = PC ******* when power surge
2. why would i buy an nvidia with an AMD while ati is the best or it
3.i was gonna upgrade my ram to 16gb in a few months so i would go with 1x8gb
thats pretty much it i guess

1. I am sure that would not be a problem. The whole world uses the Corsair Power Supplies and they are very good for that price. And anyways if ever the power goes out any computer can potentially have damages, that is why we use UPS, so that the power interruptions does not cause damage to the computer. Believe me you would be good with that Power Supply. It is much better than what you selected earlier.

2. Who said AMD is better? The real answer is no one company is better than the other, it depends on that what the company has to offer for a particular price segment. The Nvidia wins here with the 650 Ti Boost, atleast in India it wins for the price. Do not ever say that AMD or Nvidia is better than the other. They both are very good companies and they are good in what they make. At some price points the Nvidia is better wheras in other price points the AMD is better. So you should never say that AMD is better than Nvidia again. It makes people look like Fanboys and hence may seem biased more towards one company. Same goes with AMD and Intel for the CPU's, no company is better than the other in CPU's

The 650 ti is better than the 7770, that is why i selected it. The benchmarks all around the Internet say the same thing. You can check out the benchmarks at http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/536?vs=680 to see the performance difference yourself.

3. Yeah, get an 8GB stick, no problem. It should be just fine. Not a problem there at all.

I hope this helped you clear some of your doubts. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask them as well. I would be always happy to help :)
