i have celeron g460 and IMO IT SUCKS ! but i wanna know what do you think about it ? is it just for me that it sucks? i need cpu which is good for gaming, and this one definetely isn't for that . should i get new CPU ? or how do you make CPU faster , does it have to do something with my whole computer? P.S. if this will help - i have 2gb ram (it's bad , but still okay to run some few games) and Nvidia geforce 210 1GB .

I KNOW my pc sucks but that's all I could get for 400 bucks . thanks for replying . but I can still play some games on low quality ( fallout 3 , skyrim , bfcb2 .ect) .

You really should get 8 GBs of RAM for gaming, (£40)

A GTX 550 Ti (2 GB Boost) or a GTX 660 (£80-£140)

And AT LEAST an i3 2120 or at max an i5 3750 CPU or anything in that range (£95-£160)

You need to ask yourself what you want your build to do (ie. 1080p gaming at full settings, or just browsing)

Take the 8 GB, the GTX 660 and the i3-i5 CPU and you should be fine

For 400 dollars, you can get this beast right here complete with a quad core Piledriver Based Processor, 8GB RAM, AMD HD 7770 (beast for the price), A CPU Cooler, 1TB HDD, Nice Small Case (since you mentioned PS4 somewhere in this thread), good enough PSU and everything you would need for the budget. If 400 dollars is your budget, then look no further, this build should be good for your needs and it should serve you good for your needs. I hope this helps.

A Small Note :

The prices includes the discounts, Mail-In-Rebates and 396 dollars is the final price after decucing all these things.

But at the end of the day all you have to pay are the 396 dollars with Shipping and taxes all covered in that money only. So, this was just something to be made aware of. It is really not a problem, because at the end of the day, you would pay only 396 dollars.

The OP already bought a $400 system and he probably can't afford to spend another $400 to improve it. He doesn't have to buy everything that was listed in the AMD build; only the parts that are absolutely required to improve performance.

spy245, can you provide a complete list of your components? The motherboard (Intel based) and other components like the hard disk, case, PSU, etc. probably are reusable.

Sorry.. Did not noticed that, so if you already have the build, then these are the things you should change :

CPU : Since you already have a LGA 1155 motherboard, get the Pentium G2020. You would need to upgrade the BIOS, but that is very easy to do, since you already have your build up and running.
Graphics Card : Get a 7770, is is a good GPU that would not be bottlenecked by the CPU
RAM : Get 4 GB RAM, should be plenty.

So this should be a good upgrade for about 170 dollars. You are getting a pretty good upgrade. This is the least I would recommend going for :
