Hi everyone, I've got a rig with two drives; a 128gb vertex 4 and a 2tb seagate barracuda. The recycle bin takes up too much space on my ssd and i'm trying to change the location of where the deleted files go. I don't want to permanently delete the files, which is why i'm trying to relocate the bin into my 2tb seagate drive. I've tried going into the properties of the recycle bin and selecting the secondary drive and applying the settings, but it goes back to c drive every time. Does anyone know how to do this?

Solution
just move the stuff in the bin into another folder labeld "trash" or something on your 2tb drive, then the bin wont be so large
The answer to your question is no. It cannot be located to another drive.
I do not understand why you have files in the recycle bin but don`t want to delete them.
Why put them in there in the first place.

Restore from the recycle bin first.

Back the files up on a Dvd-R if the case ,or a use portable hard drive to copy the files.
Or make a folder to stick them in on the 2tb drive, copy them all to your 2tb drive
Then delete them off the drive you wish to have more space on.
It`s how I would do it.
